 National Children's Month

   

   A gift from God to a man and a woman who loved each other. A treasure to a family who gives laughter, strength and also an inspiration to everyone. The hope of a nation and the future of the whole world. The next generation of the human race who will continue what had started and who will change the things that should be changed. Too young as what we thought but has a big role in the society. Children are the world's most valuable resources and the best hope for the future. Even though they are still young and we thought that it's as if they cannot do anything but little did we know that they contribute a lot in our daily life. For example, to a parent who is exhausted from work but once he or she saw his or her child's face, his or her tiredness will disappear and will gain his or her strength again. Another is that children give hopes, realizations, and they also become the inspiration to the one's who are at their downfall. They teached us what really life is all about. They are still young yet they have already a responsibility where in they have to make their selves a better person, to make their selves worthy not just for their own future but also for the whole world. Children's Day is held to help children to fell special. It is celebrated to let them know the importance of a healthy childhood, to let them enjoy their childhood despite the cruelness of the society. The pressure of growing up and becoming an adult are almost hard to handle,  the high expectations of  the people around and the dreams of the adults to their children. On this day children are given a break and a rest to all these pressure. It aims to help raise awareness for the rights we have so we could protect it and be able to have a healthy and happy adulthood. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, once said that the youth is the future of the nation, and investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. This holiday also comes from a place of empathy. As a third- world country, most families struggle financially, and it’s the children who suffer the most.

   This month highlights the ways we can help and support them. The focus of National Children’s Month is to offer help to those children who suffered from abuse, poverty, natural calamities, and violence. In fact, in 2013 alone, there was a disturbingly high rate of children who suffered from sexual abuse and exploitation. Consistent with the national theme "Kalusugan, kaisipan, at kapakanan ng bawat bata ating tutukan!”, DepEd’s NCM will cover four categories of children’s rights including  survival rights, development rights, participation rights, and protection rights for the whole month of November. Let children enjoy the benefits of a safer internet, every child has the right to be heard.

   We must get control of this. We must motivate our youth. We must teach responsibility and goal setting. And we should spread and give love to them because they are the world. To my fellow youth, we are the world.

Sweep and Dump 2022 Clean-up Drive Project

   The environment is the ecological community that surrounds all living and non-living things. It is the very reason why we are alive, without which we would definitely not exist. Everyone is aware of the importance of preserving the environment in daily life for a brighter tomorrow. In this way, we can ensure that future generations have a healthy Earth. A clean, pollutant-free environment and a green earth are essential. It is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, we can only find the ideal resources and locations for happy life in a protected environment. The ecosystem is degrading daily as a result of resource usage and a growing population. The fundamental cause behind environmental devastation is humans.

     Humans are also accountable for safeguarding and maintaining the environment.  It is already too late, but we can still try to collectively and individually take responsibility to nurture and conserve the world we all live in. 

   Here are some actions we may do to contribute in our own small way to a greener future. We shouldn't believe that one individual cannot affect change because all change begins with one person's initiative; in order to progress, we must begin somewhere.

 

    Helping the school in cleaning our surroundings.

The importance of cleanliness in school is to provide a healthy and safe environment for students. 

 

 By planting trees, we may improve our environment and maintain our health. Greener environments not only look lovely but also minimize pollutants, keeping us healthy and fit.

I, as a student of Grade 10-Martinelli, wholeheartedly promise to support, participate and unite in the program launched for the environment "Oplan Dalus, Batog ko, Dalus ko". I promise that I will do my best and be an example of cleanliness, I will value and promote a safe environment for all. I will start with myself, by simply cleaning and disposing properly we can begin to create the paradise that people have been looking for so long. I will try to protect my environment in every possible way, including keeping it clean and healthy, gradually repairing or improving our environment. I am committed to participating in nature-related activities and I am always willing to volunteer.

Qualities of a Teacher

To all Teachers,

You serve as the class provider,

Of knowledge necessary for us students,

Sometimes you treat us a special bearer,

Urging you not to be a mere listener but an active doer.

You're a teacher who acts as the class manager, 

You make sure everything is in order,

Even skills, tasks and abilities for each garner,

You anticipate everything for each lucky winner.

You're a teacher who performs as the class leader,

Like God who shows the best and most dear,

Always careful of avoiding an error,

Taking the good fate of truth for a best future.

ICT Reflection

     Life is not easy, we always encountered a lot of problems that are there to give us lessons. Learning is always the best solution in the problems. It helps in showing us how these problems in providing us experiences that we can use. Our first quarter lesson in ICT excites me because I want to know more about the internet, it's history, internet architects, Philippine Internet Pioneers, Software Pioneers and Blogs.

     I learned and discovered the people behind the making of internet and when did they developed it and and where did it came from. It gave me more ideas on how did they invent and made it. It is better if we know when did the internet started because this is very helpful and useful for us students in doing our assignments and projects and it also helps the workers. I also learned those internet architects, Philippine Internet Pioneers and Software Pioneer who contributed in the making of the internet. I learned a lot about the internet. I also learned and discovered what blog is. My knowledge about the blogs was added and became broad. I encountered different problems and challenges in memorizing and knowing the dates because there were so many of it and it was hard to know all the dates and happenings. I will address these challenges by giving more efforts and attention in knowing all the happenings and events about the internet.

     Moving on, I will mark these lessons in my heart and mind because I know that it can help me in the future. These lessons will not just be memorized just to answer questions on tests but also be used for life purposes. I will surely enjoy this subject because there will be more challenges will come and the topics that we are going to discuss that will help me.
